Myers-Briggs Type Indicator

“Science” has a way of neatly catagorising/labeling things into little packages. Based on the MBTI psychometric questionnaire there are 16 types of people of varying rarity.

If you have nothing to do for… 10 minutes, take the test here.

Wiki (unsurprisingly) has a bit more information about this as well.

I was asked to do this today so my name can join the others on the list that goes on the wall in the company where I work at right now…

According to that test, I am an INTJ.

My ‘Thinking’ is off the charts, and I’m part of 1% of the world population….’one of the rarest of the 16 personality types’.

It also means I’m in the same personality group as (fictional) Hannibal Lector and (non fictional) Augustus Caesar…..

Should we be worried?

  1. Wow, I didn’t know the test was already around during the time of Ceasar.

  2. Imagine asking Hannibal Lector to answer questions like “You feel involved when watching TV soaps…. yes or no”
