A new gadget joined ever growing electrical whizzdigs in the house this week…. a wonderful little juicer!
Though absolutely loving the yummy carrot, apple and ginger juice from it, Waki was a bit distressed at the amount of pulp that was leftover and chucked yesterday. So today, from the remains of whipping up another batch of juice and a furious bit recipe googling….
Carrot, apple and ginger pulp cake!
Simply add honey, olive oil, flour, baking soda, a bit of cinnamon and salt to the pulp, mix them up and bake them at 180 degrees C for an hour or so.
I foresee a lot of juicing in the future…. so any related recipes welcomed! Stay tuned for furthur pulpy adventures.
